Secondary Brake Devices not only protect the system should the lifting system fail, but are also capable of sounding an alarm and providing audible and visual notification of the issue.

Simple and easy to service design. Can very easily be taken out of service and replaced with a new unit while the old unit is sent in.
Reliable stopping power
The secondary brake senses travel speed greater than 100 FPM which sets the internal brake to stop equipment and provide protection if the primary drivetrain fails.
