External Brake Resistor
The STK VS encourages heavy-duty, continual use because it’s built to work in the toughest of environments. External brake resistors keep it from overheating by dissipating the heat.
VFD Control
The variable frequency drive can regulate the motor’s speed and torque, enabling smooth acceleration and deceleration with precise control.
2-Speed Option
Optionally choose 2-speed instead of variable. A custom low & high speed can be set and will work with a 2‑speed pendant.

- Classification
The STK Variable Speed Chain Hoists meet the ASME H4 duty rating.
H4 duty rating
High volume of heavy loads, frequently near rated load capacity. Total running time not over 50% of the work period. Manual or automatic cycling operations of lighter loads with capacity loads handled infrequently such as in heat treating and plating operations, with total running time frequently at 50% of the work period.
